Hunter Care Limited is an independent not for profit, community based and community funded organisation which raises funds to empower children and young people in the Hunter region to make safer and healthier choices to enable them to adopt a healthier lifestyle

Hunter Care Limited began in 1985 to provide Life Education programs in the Newcastle and Hunter Regions. Since then, thanks to the support of our regional community, many preschool, primary and high school students’ have received Life Education programs. Some experienced the programs in Life Ed vans at their school, while others attended the Hunter Life Education Centre in Edgeworth.

Today, Hunter Care Limited manages the Hunter Care Community Hub on the same site in Edgeworth, and we are proud to have other organisations supporting children and young people in the Hunter region call this site home too. The synergy created within the hub is delivering better outcomes for our communities.

Our Charity Cash Housie community helps us to raise meaningful funds while having fun. Charity Housie sessions are held in our supporter club venues right across our region.

The Life Education Guide to Thrive program in 2023
